This is where the raw ingredients only on rails stops. The Hub Expansion includes a dedicated PAX train, as well as 4 empty train stations to allow the player to customize the HUB to their liking. This was done as exact power needs can be hard to calculate as it is unknown how many outposts a player will have. It is the players choice as to which expansion to do first, which is why both of these are labeled "M-P", the player also has the choice of expanding Power Production prior to expanding into Science or Manufacturing. This is a recursive expansion onto the starter base and is designed to produce all science, and mass produce all items in the game at high speeds. You will see these labeled as to what way you will be expanding. a "Science Expansion" and a "HUB Expansion". The production base is broken into two different streams. The starter base ends on "blueprint #K" "Blueprint #L" is the start of the production base. Please note, there is an SR latch built into this base, in order to use it, you must manually remove the wooden pole found above the Steam Power Plant. (You can stamp down the next blueprint from map view so you never have to return to base to build the next section). This is to allow you to be out killing bugs, taking land, and building outposts, while your base automatically builds itself. The starter base will transition into being built entirely by robots. Leaving it on yellow belts or Stone Furnaces will cause unnecessary wait time for building your outposts. This will ensure that your assets are built at an insane speed. The base is designed to be fully upgraded to red belts, and Steel Furnaces. This is due to the heavy demands early game of just needing stuff to build. The starter base is heavily focused on asset production overtop of science production. This is upgradeable to 45 SPM my switching to T2 assembly machines. It is designed to produce 30 spm of Red/Green/Black/Blue. I have truly fallen in love with the simplicity of this starter base. This is again only using raw resources to produce science. These are meant to be small, easy to set up and allow you to build as many as you want to get to your desired SPM Pre-Mega Base. As an in-between from the starter to the mega base, I have included a Modular 45 SPM raw base. Expanding past this number is as simple as stamping down another BP and ensuring you have enough trains.īuilding the first 1300, Modular Mega Base is going to be challenging as it requires around 65 thousand blue belts. So long as you do not add too many trains, these will be the only two problems that you need to solve to produce 1300 SPM. The only other option, would be a shortage of trains, which is solved by adding more trains. In this set up, if you are not producing the expected SPM, you can quickly look to see what raw ingredient you are short on, and simply stamp down another mine or two of that specific resource type. The intent behind this is to simplify the production of science to the bare minimum of trouble shooting. Iron, Copper, Coal, Stone Ore, Crude Oil, and Water. The Modular Megabase produces 1300 SPM from only raw ingredients. Well, my attempt at this is to utilize raw ingredient transportation on trains only (Kinda, but ill get to this later). How does one even keep a project of this scale simple?. This way, there is no guessing as to which blueprint to use, and where it goes. To combat this, all blueprints are labeled Alphabetically. The downside to this, is the blueprint strings are so massive that I have to break them down into separate books and upload them separately. This is why I have opted to go for a set of recursive blueprints for the starter base. The instructions should be written in crayon, so anyone can follow along. This was one of the founding principles I used when building these blueprints. But someone else trying to follow my build may not be able to follow my logic.

As the creator of the blueprints, I know them intimately, how to use them, what order to build in, what they can and can not do. I have spent alot of time trying to plan and figure out what is the most friendly build for someone to follow along with. This is a complete vanilla base, designed to be built and used without the use of mods. These books will provide you with a base that is going to match your needs, and meet your future needs before you actually need it. These blueprint books are designed to take you from crash landing on the planet, to producing as much SPM as your computer can handle, without having to stop to think of how to do something. I present to you, a Recursive Starter Base to Modular 1300 SPM Mega Base. After just over a year of work, I have finally finished my project.
